Joo Wan possesses more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance, restructuring and insolvency, as well as forensic accounting and litigation support services covering Singapore, Hong Kong, United Kingdom and United States of America. He has undertaken various insolvency and expert witness appointments and has also been involved in engagements to advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, including acquisition searches for companies wishing to establish a presence in Asia, and local and regional capital raisings. Joo Wan has been a director on several listed companies.
Alex brings more than 30 years’ experience in the area of corporate finance and corporate restructuring, with more than 18 years in proven operational turnaround experience. He was the key strategist for a number of companies listed on the Singapore Exchange (“SGX”), and was previously the Managing Director of a company listed on the Main Board of SGX and the CEO and executive director of companies listed on the Catalist Board of SGX. Alex has considerable experience in the restructuring of listed and private entities in a variety of industry sectors such as the oil and gas business and the marine business. He is also a specialist in the area of systems and controls. In additional to Alex’s operational experiences, he is also a qualified insolvency practitioner and has been involved in a number of litigation support engagements where he assisted the solicitors in various cases, from settlement disputes to divorce matters involving over S$500 million in assets.
